The Ridley/Fox Shooting and Aftermath: An American Tragedy Presented by Dr.Thomas Wieckowski - FREE

This unfortunate incident at Camp William Penn not only resulted in the death of a local resident, but altered the life of Private Ridley and affected the lives of the Fox family for generations. This presentation will review current research on the circumstances of the shooting and the devastating impact on Ridley and the extended Fox family of LaMott. Kerry Bryan will be in attendance as Lucretia Mott. This is a free event. FLYER

African Americans and the Right to Vote will be presented by Victorian Vanities - FREE

The year 2020 marks the centennial of the Nineteenth Amendment and the culmination of the women’s suffrage movement. The year 2020 also marks the sesquicentennial of the Fifteenth Amendment (1870) and the right of black men to the ballot after the Civil War. This theme speaks to the ongoing struggle on the part of both black men and black women for the right to vote. This event is sponsored by the La Mott Community Center and La Mott Library.

Maple Sugar Day - $3 fee
Saturday, February 22, 2020 | 1:00pm - 2:30pm | Robinson Park
A fun event in Robinson Park where you will learn about tree tapping and Maple syrup. There is going to be many fun activities that you can do. Hot Chocolate and a taste of maple syrup on a waffle will be served! FLYER

25th Annual Family Bingo and Ice Cream Social
Friday, February 28, 2020 | 6:30pm - 8:00pm | Rowland Community Center
A night full of family fun and Ice Cream Sundaes. Children ages 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. There is a limit of 100 people. Call the Rowland Community Center at 215-379-2233 for more information. FLYER

Princess ball

Come to the new event this year. Our Princess Ball is a dance will be held at the Glenside Memorial Hall. If you are a father, grandfather, mother, grandmother, uncle, or aunt, you are welcomed to bring your little princess(es) to this delightful dance. Family Fun Day

Join us for a fun day for the whole family! Featuring hands on activities, the 10th Regional Children's Art Show, a musical performance in our black box theater, and both clay and printmaking activities downstairs! CCA is opening its doors to the community!  Food will be available for purchase, and this event also marks the kick off of our Summer Camp registration!

Tookany Creek Trail Fest

Tookany Creek Trail Fest is Cheltenham's kickoff to spring and Earth Day week activities, and will be held on the official Opening Day for Trails on April 18, 2020! This event will be held along Tookany Creek Trail at the trail-head near the Tookany Creek Parkway and Central Avenue parking lot in Cheltenham.
