22nd ANNUAL CONCERTS IN THE PARK
Sundays| First set starts at 5:00 pm | FREE | Most concerts at Curtis Arboretum on Church Road in Wyncote
Cheltenham Township is once again offering a free concert series on 5 Sundays this summer primarily at Curtis Arboretum, the beautiful and recently renovated 47-acre park .The Township couldn’t offer quality free music in the park without support from the series sponsor, Einstein Medical Center. All musicians will play two 45-minute sets starting at 5:00 p.m., but the musician line-up is subject to change. Lawn chairs, blankets, and light snacks are welcome, but no alcohol is permitted. In case of rain concerts will be held inside Curtis Hall. Information: 215-887-6200, ext. 227.

CHELTENHAM SUMMER FLEA MARKET
Saturday, August 24, 2019 | 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m. | Free at Curtis Arboretum on Church Road in Wyncote
Look for lost treasures at the bi-annual Flea Market and browse the sale tables while enjoying the beautiful rolling hills at Curtis Arboretum. For more information call at 215-887-6200, ext. 227.

SUNDAYS IN THE PARK  
Sept. 15 | Sept. 22 | Sept. 29 | Oct. 6 | Oct. 20  1:00 to 4:00 pm Tookany Creek Parkway (between Central Ave.and Beryl Rd.)
During Sundays in the Spring and Fall Tookany Creek Parkway is closed to motor vehicles (weather permitting) so that cyclists, in-line skaters, joggers, walkers and others can enjoy the roadway free from traffic. Vehicles are diverted from Tookany Creek Parkway.  Through traffic is allowed on Beryl Road.

FALL FLING

$10 per resident or $20 per non-resident (includes light refreshments)
Parents and their children ages 3 to 15. Don’t miss the best dance of the year hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department. DJ Dave Boice will play the latest hits for you and your family to dance to. Parents must stay at the dance with their children. Tickets may be purchased at the La Mott Community Center, Rowland Community Center, the Parks and Recreation office at the Cheltenham Township Administration Building, or online at www.cheltenhamtownship.recdesk.com.

COMMUNITY HARVEST FESTIVAL

HALLOWEEN PARTY

HAYRIDE AND BONFIRE 2019 
Welcome the onset of chilly weather by enjoying a hayride down to a bonfire to listen to music or sing along on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. This event in beautiful Curtis Arboretum, located at Church Road and Greenwood Avenue in Wyncote, costs $5 per person, but children 2 & younger are free. Hot chocolate, cider and other light refreshments are included. Rain date: Friday, November 15, 2019.

Recreational Swim and Children's Lessons at the Cheltenham High School Pool  (2019)   Come out and enjoy evening recreational swims at the Cheltenham High School pool one night a week during the fall and winter/spring season. The pool, located at Rices Mill Road and Panther Road in Wyncote, will be open on Wednesdays from 7:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.. Daily fees are $4 for resident adults ($8 for non-resident adults) or $3 for resident youths ($6 for non-resident youths) under age 18, college students up to age 23 and seniors age 62 and over.  Seasonal tags may be purchased at the pool for $30 for resident adults ($55 for non-resident adults) or $20 for resident youths ($45 for non-resident youths), college students or seniors.  CASH ONLY. Swimmers must supply their own towels, caps and bathing suits.Lockers are available, but participants must supply their own locks.  The township is not responsible for personal items in the locker room. Access to pool - please use door #C-11 by the tennis court area.
Now accepting non-residents for swim lessons in the fall and winter at the Cheltenham High School Pool, but NOT in the summer at Glenside or Conklin Pools.

The American black community, both military and civilian, contributed more to the winning of World War II than most people, even today, realize. Local historian, Bill Chambrés will present a lecture highlighting some of the histories of persons and units who made those contributions. Based upon the journal-type magazine which he edited in 2018, these historic accounts will keep you riveted to your seats during this Free presentation.
The American black community, both military and civilian, contributed more to the winning of World War II than most people, even today, realize. Local historian, Bill Chambrés will present a lecture highlighting some of the histories of persons and units who made those contributions. Based upon the journal-type magazine which he edited in 2018, these historic accounts will keep you riveted to your seats during this Free presentation.
